A/C Line Tester

This is one of the simplest tools you can buy. It's less than $5 at any home improvement center and can instantly tell you if your A/C circuit is wired properly. Buy one for the basement workshop and one for the garage.

How to use it? You plug it into the socket and check the resulting lights against the codes on the tester itself.
